The New York Yankees have won the most World Series titles. What is the second highest ranking A.L. team with World Series crowns?

    (No Google)

    The answer will surely surprise.

I'd guess Boston. They had 4 or 5 before Ruth was sold to the Yankees and have had 3 in last decade.

          EDIT...And I was almost right...but not quite.

There were 3 major league players, who were rookies of the year and the following year, the players were named MVP.

                  Name 2 of the 3.

                  Never mind. Name one.

                    Ichiro?

Edit: I think he won them in same year.

                    Ryan Howard?

                      Errr.

Ryan Howard is correcto, but not in same year.

                      Hints: Cal, Ryan, Dustin

I was saying Ichiro won Rookie and MVP the same year, but didn't win back to back I didn't think.

With those hints I'm going Ripken, Jr, Howard (said above) and Pedroia.
