This is the latest rumor from someone that knows people that know people. Yeah thats what I think too but I just wanted to get it out there first. The disclaimer of course. Said that Heefner and his family was in town this week for an interview but had no idea if an offer had been made or not. Said that Todd Butler was to be interviewed today.

That would be nice even if it was a source from WSU that wished to remain anonymous or someone close to the program that did not have the authority to speak.

Another highly qualified candidate IMHO who reportedly is strong in recruiting and hitting.

Yeah I noticed his strong West Coast ties. Whether he's the right fit or not is up to others to decide. But my point wasn't that we should recruit John Savage, so much as why aren't we looking at John Savage "type" guys. Guys that have serious CWS experience, are getting paid half of what we know we can offer (based on their ability to perform), want serious fan support, not sloppy left overs from football, have children to raise, etc.

I agree totally. If we go outside of the family, these are the type of guys we should be looking for and I believe we should be able to get.

Assuming KGSO was correct I kind of figured that was the case since we had not heard anything (and Pogo report that Butler was next in line). Hopefully this means Hooper back in the running.
