IMO, he has a verbal commitment from someone who is on board with BK and now must jump through the hoops.
Statement from Sexton: Kemnitz has removed his name from head coaching contention
Kyle Broz @KyleBroz 2h
@JennBates12 so is Brent staying as pitching coach
Jenn Bates @JennBates12 2h
@KyleBroz he's staying as director of operations
That is the only place I've seen it so far, though.

Don't dismiss Loren Hibbs, just based on W-L record. Loren has achieved a lot more than even local sports fans are aware of. He has had over 30 players play pro ball and 3-4 of them make pro ball. May not seem like much compared to your teams legacy. But those of us who followed the Niners program for years realize that Loren Hibbs made a lot of magic happen around here while being held captive to a nickel and dime budget and division 2 facilities for nearly 2/3 of his time here.
Until this past Spring, local rec leqgues had nicer hitting facilities than we do at Charlotte. Now we are on par with the local rec leagues. Teams we need to beat to make NCAAs consistently have facilities than are far better than ours.

No doubt you are replacing a LEGEND. Won't question that for a second. Even though the masses do it, judging Loren just on W-L record is not fair. The man brings more to the dugout than people realize.
Interesting WSU fact......at one time while at Winthrop, our basketball HC job was considered Gregg Marshall's dream job. Obviously he has exceeded that goal.

No one can replace him. Anyone who tells you otherwise is a moron.
I took a break from Disney to post this to give you an idea of how angry I am at the fan base for this.
If you want to reply, don't bother. I won't see it. Kick yourself in the grapes if you disagree with me. I hope it is as painful as I have heard.
