Green smokes one headed for left but it hits Gillespie and we're going to the bottom of the 9th. Last chance (this time) for the Trees. 5-0

Glad to see him hit it hard. Can't afford any slumps right now.

Gee, I wonder who the player of the game will be? Not. Great job Kris (plus you made a prophet out of me which is a rare feat indeed).

Two guys you have to really feel happy for after they struggled most of the regular season. Johnny Coy and Kris Gardner. Way to step it up guys.

Incredible pitching the last 2 days. The offense has been great, but the pitching has given a chance to win 5. Unreal. 4 ER in 25 IP by 4 pitchers.

Hell yeah! Way ta go Kris. What a gutty effort! And props to the bats for doing just enough to get by.

Shox score 20 runs today and allow none.

Keep riding the wave into tomorrow.

My guess for tomorrow. Either Austin Sanders, Tobin Mateychick or Drew Palmer with Albert Minnis pretty much ready to come in from the get go.

I like Mateychick followed by Minnis when needed to give us a righty-lefty switch.

Palmer is out for the year. I'd give everybody 2 innings.

I'd give everybody 1 innining if that is what it takes but if whoever starts is effective or the Shocks jump out to a big lead let 'em ride for as long as you can.

Mike and Shane throw out T.J. McGreevey and Aaron LaBrie as possible starters. Aaron has been so good in relief this year I think I just as soon see him come out of the pen. T.J. might work although he always makes me a little nervous and if he does go he has to be on a short leash.

It would be nice to save Minnis and LaBrie for a championship game but you have to get there first.

I don't really know what Indiana State's has left with their staff. I suppose Sean Manaea is always a possibility but just not sure you want to take that risk with a kid that talented.

I don't think we will be filling in our lineup cards until game time tomorrow.

Technically, I guess I was wrong. That was not a solid outing by Kris. Tha was an oustanding outing.

To be honest, I was just hoping for maybe 5 within a run one way or the other and then turn it over to the bullpen. I certainly was not expecting a complete game shut-out.
