Agreed, SB -- Creighton is finished, and a mixed good-bye to them. They're a pain in the butt, but they do at least take athletics seriously, and how many other schools in the Valley -- or the league itself, for that matter -- have been able to say that except WSU?

As for Illinois State, they may or may not be finished if they play for the championship -- although they certainly will be very nervous about their chances if they don't win, and rightly so. We've certainly seen the Shockers get skipped over with credentials equally as good or better.

Glad Gene got the last win in the rivalry with Servais and the Jays. Obviously a shadow of what the rivalry once was, but every day you beat CU is a good day.
