                Too bad. Sounds like Garrett made a good swing.

                You sleep walk through 2/3rds of the game and fall behind by 5 (giving up 3 unearned runs) it is very tough to win ball games. Although we had our chances to do more damage in the 7th, 8th and 9th innings and just couldn't come through with the big hit.

                So much for the sweep of the bottom feeder, allthough the sweep by the bottom feeder is still alive.

                Hope Cale is OK.

                    Shocks should and must win the next two. I won't go so far as to say it should or will be easy.

                    We essentially gave today's game to SIU.

                    Sounds like there is a good chance we will be playing the next two on Sunday.

                          The Shocks are doing better today than yesterday. Instead of being behind 5-0 after 6, they are tied 4-4.

                            Shox grab 1 in the 8th and 3 more in the 9th to go up 8-4 heading to the bottom of the ninth.

                              Missouri State loses to Evansville, and Bradley leads ISU in what appears to be a game delay (not sure) 5-0 in the 5th.

                              Shocks win 8-4. If Bradley can hang on (no sure thing with their pen) the Shocks will be back in a tie for 1st.

                                With the help of 5 Bradley errors, IlSU rallies for 9 straight to win 9-5.
