Gene will be gone at the end of this year, barring a miraculous turn around. He will be bought out by donors.

The only other option is Hooper is named head coach in waiting and JT takes a hike in 2014. But Gene may want to go down with the ship and spare JT.

I took a little liberty with his comment, it was like april, but with this schedule it mights as well be July with them losing to Pitt (these will be bad losses).

It's starting to annoy me that some of the coaching staff seems to completely take WSU, its boosters, and its fans as idiots and fools.

BK should be ashamed.

At this point, I will simply look at the entire season. I've always pulled for HCGS and BK.

Between the 2 games we saw 8 different Shocker pitchers. None of them seemed to be able to stop the Pitt hitters (LaBrie probably did the best as I recall). Maybe Pitt will turn out to be a really good hitting team (doubtful). Or maybe our pitchers will improve (hopefully that will be the case). But right now the Shocker pitching really scares me. The Shocker hitters actually did okay today, but the pitchers couldn't get anyone out consistently.

Just checked the box score. The Shox had 13 hits today and every Shocker batter got at least 1 hit. It is too bad the pitching staff gave up 17 hits and 10 runs.
