Agreed. It makes no sense that it's double elimination up until the final. Finals should go until one team gets two losses

They use the Best of 3 final just like the CWS does. So I can wrap my head around that. But then why do the losing teams of the winner bracket games switch brackets?

Using this American tournament as an example, I would be pissed if we had to play ECU in the final, single game or Best of 3.
