Actually putting money on Tulane has to be the smart bet although not sure what betting odds are.

Coming into the Tournament I felt like Tulane was the favorite base on how they were playing down the stretch incuding taking 2 of 3 over the Shocks in Wichita, sweeping ECU at home and taking 2 of 3 on the road vs Charotte.

Tulane certainly have the upper hand in today's matchup with a much fresher and more rested pitching staff.

A win in this game for the Shocks will have to be considered a big upset. But that is what will make is so special if it happens.

Tulane slight favorite (-150) Less so than ECU was (-280). Yes, this type of effort and passion will get my money. I can appreciate what this team has done, regardless of today.

They also lost 2 of 3 at home to Memphis, getting shut out in one of those prior to their streak. They’re a middling team just like us that has their flaws too. They are hot but so are we. I just hope the pressure doesn’t get to us. They won it last year, we haven’t even been to this point since 2013.
