Something felt different today. Good different.

Very effective pitching by both teams. No errors from either team. A pretty well played college baseball game by both teams. One in which a win feels very good, and loss feels crappy.

At first I was a bit miffed when he signaled a pitcher change, but I leaned over and told my father-in-law it only makes sense if they are bringing in Adler. And then Adler trotted on. I can understand bringing in your best closer in that situation. I would have preferred to leave Hunter on, but it wasn't wrong (or analytics) to bring in Adler there either.
