I think Coach Green will like this game. A great start and solid pitching lead to a good win. A lot of thing to praise but plenty of teaching points as well.

That was not that bad of a 1-2 pitch the Stroh blasted of the back fence in right field. Looks like a slider at the knees on the outer 3rd. Not a real sharp break to it but not an easy pitch to hit out of the park, especially when Stroh pretty much one handed it. Tells you how strong he is.

Really good example of a grown man, and how much different a team you are when you have several 22-25 year olds vs a team of 10-21 guys. Men vs boys and Stroh is a man. That was a GOOD pitch and reached for it but it was still smoked.

Am I the only one that thinks Nebraska looks like a team full of 25 to 30 year olds.

I made the same comment last night to JJ. The pictures of them on the score board looked like some of the old LSU line ups like real grown up men compared to our guys.

Went to the Tuesday game, seemed like a lineup full of freshmen and it showed. They seemed to play better after the 6th when some older players were put in. Today… much much better!
