I noticed this in the fall but Jordan Roger used to choke up on the bat at all times. This year is down on the end of the bat and that so far seems to be working quite well for him.

FYI, the guy we hung 7 on in 2 IP was the nation's ERA leader last year at 1.5. He only gave up 9 ER all year in 9 starts, only 3 HRs, held opponents to .211, and pitched 2 CGSOs.

The Shockers had 7 ER, 2 HR, and hit almost .500
