It is interesting that this guy has #63 rpi Oklahoma with their 3-11 record against the top 50 as a 3 seed. He also has #42 Texas and their 3-6 record against the top 50 as a #2 seed. It appears that he has a BCS bias although he does have #37 DBU (with their 3-6 top 50 record) as a 3 seed too.

It may be that he just doesn't do his homework very much outside of the SEC. How can he have ISU-R on the bubble with their #69 rpi, 0-4 record against the top 50 and their current 7th place in the Valley standings? That is just plain silly.

I notice he also shows Indy State as the second team out. That actually seems a little too good for them right now but considering he has #63 Ou as a #3 seed I guess it is par for the course.

He also has #62 rpi Ohio State (2-7 against the top 50 and 2 bad losses) as his 3rd team out.

WSU doesn't warrant an at-large bid, but to say Illinois State is more qualified than WSU at this point is indeed silly.

What exactly has Illinois State done to warrant such a lofty status? Being 7th in an 8-team mediocre conference?

Probably have to look back a week ago and see where these teams were on 4/24. Unfortunately I didn't find this until yesterday so it is a little dated. I would expect an update this week.

Haven't clicked the link, but isn't that the Mark Etheridge site? His projections are usually pretty close to what the committee ends up going with. He's also twice as smart and a hundred times more likeable than Kendall Rogers ever was.

Wow I agree. I wouldn't even have WSU in right now. I would be happy to see us on the bubble, just on the outside looking in (basically in the first 10 out rather than in the last 5 in).

I hope nobody expects it this season. Just seeing it as a possibility is nice IF we take care of business. I would rather this team start to go on a little streak and just win the MVC Tournament so we don't have to worry about the at-large.
