Lets just say we had 29 hits in the first two games and we will need 29 hits tomorrow to complete the sweep.

Dr. & Mrs. Bardo stopped by the Volleyball scrimmage with KU and they were also at the Shocker softball game at noon. I'm sure they made there way over to the baseball game and I hope they stayed for the exciting finish of that game. I would guess they will also mozy on over to the track meet this evening.

Maybe, I could bet everything I own, and win or lose, I would still be very poor.

I believe Mormann is schedule to start which I'm not sure about. He may be the kind of pitcher D-Bap will eat up, but we will see.

Nice Win! We scored at least run in every inning after the second. I like the way we are hitting the ball. The glimmer of hope widens!

Kris Gardner also pitched a great game. DBU is a very good hitting team. Kris has solidified his position as a weekend starter.

I also spotted County Commissioner Chairman Tim Norton at the game. Got to briefly meet Bardo. He seemed pretty likeable.

Our hitting was been 1000% better this weekend.

And that was early in the season in February. I thought it would be impossible to think that we might be able to sweep these guys. I think it is going to be very tough, but if we keep hitting like we have done the first 2 games, we have a chance to win tomorrow.

Brent said on his radio show today that Mormann will start tomorrow. He said that Minnis, Boughman, La Brie and Vielock would be in the mix. I would also assume that AJ Ladwig and Tobin Mateychick would also be available if needed.

Who had the biggest hit in the 9th? I have to go with Mikel Mucha down 0-2 worked the count full while fouling of a couple pitches then getting a single to start the 9th. Oh and he was pinch hitting. But there were some big hits. Your thoughts.
First a Baseball fan then a Volleyball fan and then I guess I follow the basketball team.

Obviously they were all big but I agree with you. It is really important to get that lead off guy on base when you are in the bottom of the ninth and needing to score. And Mucha battling back from a 0-2 count and working it full has huge. It was a great at bat.
