Great, great, great win... lots of heart right there after your stud closer blows the lead in the 9th.

          Guess their closer choked too.

          Great comeback, fellas!

Elam needs to buy a few steaks for the boys tonight.

Now tomorrow we have a chance to sweep DBU. Something that only 1 team has done all year, #8 Rice.

Whatever the hitters had for lunch the last 2 days...keep eating it. Every gameday.

LOL I was just thinking today that with the young talent we have, the next two years we will probably make decent runs and it might be hard not to extend his contract.

Stats wise he's on pace for about 3-4 more appearances and about 6-8 more innings from last year (he threw 44 last year, on pace for 52-55 this year). Last year he threw 1.6 innings per appearance which this year is up to 1.7. I'd hope that slight increase in workload wouldn't burn him out. Going back historically the last 10 years he has appearance and inning pitch numbers very similar to Noah Booth, but definitely among the leaders as far as appearances go. To me it looks about right for someone another year older compared to the previous year workload.

It's not always about the innings. He just doesn't look as sharp as he did earlier in the season. I know that is going to happen at times, but he's been struggling for awhile now. He's just not the same guy anymore.

Brent post-game is great radio. :)

Talking about getting tossed without talking about it. Classic

Brent just said on his radio show that it was mechanics in the 9th.
