Sorry guys, as much as you try not to be THAT team, you are THAT team. You are the worst team in modern era of Shocker baseball. Take heart though, you will only hold that distinction until next season, because next year's team will replace you just like you replaced the team before you and the team before you replaced the team before them.Comment

I can't vote because 2012 at large is not on the ballet. This team has done everything needed. Now it up to espn and the committee to give them what they earned.First a Baseball fan then a Volleyball fan and then I guess I follow the basketball team.Comment

Yep they earned it alright...going 0-3 in Texas tourney, 1-3 in Hawaii, 1-2 against LBSU, 1-3 against MSU, 1-2 against ISUb, 1-2 against UE, 0 for whatever on neutral field. I just don't think you can really say they earned one.Originally posted by shock10 View Post

I agree with @Ta town: on this one. I don't think we will get in. The MVC may get 3 teams which I think will be the SIU/CU winner in tomorrow's championship game, MSU and maybe INS.
The Shocks simpy were a no-show in Springfield. Not only is highly doubtful that they have earned anything, but based on their lack of energy and fight in Springfield I am questioning whether this team really cares one way of the other.Comment
