Shocks did get the tying run to the plate in the 9th after Xavier''s two-run homer made it 5-3 but just couldn't get it done.

Xavier had a good day at the plate going 3-4 including the 2-run homer off Houston's ace closer in the 9th. Perhaps he will start fulfilling the high hopes Shocker fans had for him coming in.

Just finished watching the Shocks softball team complete its sweep of Tulsa. One thing nice about ESPN+ is that you can tune in late an rewind back to the beginning if the game plus fast foward during the breaks in play.
