I had high hopes for this season and believe that we will get better. I thought we would be very good because of guys coming back like Kocis, whose hurt and hitting .136, Stroh whose on the bench now hitting .188, Sigrist .231, Ingram with 22 strikeouts in 61 at bats, and Cornblum .233 to become consistent hitters. Not to mention Casserills at .173. I never would have guessed that Rodden, Thornhill, Cadena, and Tolle would be leading us in hitting. Hopefully hitting improves as the weather gets warmer. Frustrating season so far, but it’s early.
