On the bright side we were able to rest Cale Elam tonight.

He (Kevin Hooper) was one of the best at executing. It didn't bother him one bit to choke up on the bat and just put the ball in play.

Good question. Hall is NOT a leadoff hitter and never has been; he's a guy who looks like he SHOULD be a leadoff hitter. Unfortunately, a .322 OBA and three walks in 59 plate appearances are not leadoff material. He's perfect at #9 and should never move from there.

              Typical.

Momentum gets going, and then you get your asses handed to you by some school you beat down on their home field a couple weeks earlier.

              ... No really, deuces.

                Simple facts:
2012 Shox commit errors - they lose. (1-7)
2012 Shox do not commit errors - they win. (9-1)
2012 Shox in 8 games have committed 2 or more errors .
2012 Shox are 9-0 when leading after 6 innings, 1-8 when trailing after 6 innings.

Speaks to preparation and focus. With the poor offensive production, there is VERY LITTLE margin for error.
