Ryan Hege walks. Shox 6-1 in the sixth inning, bases still loaded with 2 outs. The Sioux are making another pitching change.

Give Tyler credit for taking the ball to the opposite field and taking advantage of the elements. Either or that or he just swung late.

          Is Sam Hall redshirting?

I think Shane mentioned during the ORU broadcast that he is out with an injury. Did not catch what the nature of the injury was.

Now 7-1 going to the 8th. Would feel pretty decent about the game if they hadn't bungled the bases loaded nobody out earlier. Fairly clean game with good pitching so far.

T.J. McGreevey out for his 2nd inning. Doggett and Davidson in as replacements.

Anyone else think Shane Dennis understands the game of baseball a little bit?

The quality of the Shocker baseball radio broadcasts is the equal of any major league broadcast I have heard.

Not to take anything away from Terry Elliott who I also enjoyed.

Agree. Some people who call a game by themselves come off as very amateurish but not Shane. He's a natural as a play by play and a color guy.

+a bunch- I liked Shane by himself, but add him to Mike, and it's pretty awesome. I hope the team plays up to the level of their broadcast team.

                          I missed the game.

And yes Mike and Shane as a team is awesome.

Yipeeee! Two wins now against still winless teams. Better than losing however. Changing gears, how about Shane as our next coach?

I've thought about that. Shane certainly understands the game and seems to have a great personality. Not sure if he has any interest in travelling that road. I've always wondered what Shane's goals are. Is hanging around for a shot at succeeding Gene or for a shot at succeeding Mike Kennedy? Or maybe he is just happy with where he is at.

Any sign of Rosewood at the game?
