Virginia eliminates host South Carolina 3-2. Virginia now must beat Old Dominion twice to advance to the super regionals.

ECU leads Maryland 5-2 in the top of the 5th.

Tennessee and Notre Dame have advanced to the super regionals.

The NCAA decided on 20 potential hosts weeks and weeks ago and were going to pick the 16 host schools from among those. This was so that the venues could adequately prepare for COVID restrictions. Then, of course, basically all COVID restrictions were lifted, but they never went back and readdressed hosting.

That is why South Carolina hosted as a 2.

Campbell is giving Mississippi State all they can handle. Frankly, Campbell should have 10 or more runs by now. Trailing 6-5 bottom 6th.

Bulls tie it up at 2 in the top of the 4th.

2nd and 3rd with 2 outs.

With 1 run already in for USA in the bottom of the 8th making it 4-3 USF the Jags loaded the bases with 1 out with the help of a walk and a misplay by the Bulls 1st basemen. Joseph Sanchez comes in form the bullpen and gets a pop out to short and a strike out and the Bulls escape still leading 4-3 into the 9th.

Bulls tack on 2 runs in the top of the 9th largely assisted by an error on the Jags center fielder. Bulls lead 6-3 heading to the bottom off the 9th.

USA gets a 2-out solo homer in the 9th and the next batter hit a hard one-hopper but the Bulls first baseman handled it and beat the runner to the bag to end the game.

Bulls join the Pirates in the Super Regionals. 1st Super Regional appearance for the Bulls.

Maryland went 2-2 and was eliminated by ECU.

Nebraska survived a first day scare against Northeastern I think and is 3-1 playing a winner take all game against Arkansas right now. They had the automatic birth in the B1G

So the B1G went 5-6 with only regular season Nebraska making a good showing.

The AAC is 6-1 and has their #1 and #6 placed teams in Super Regionals. But yeah, 3 bid league.

The Huskers and Hogs were tied 2-2 after 8 innings. Nebraska was the home team in this one. With 2 outs in the top of the 9th Arkansas loaded the bases on 3 walks. A wild pitch then allowed the go ahead run to score. The Hogs then nailed the coffin shut with a 3-run jack to make it 6-2. The Huskers only managed to get 1 runner on by a hit by pitch with 2-outs in the bottom of the 9th.
