He has always struck out a ton. Was hitting in the PAs he didn't strike outast year. Dunno. Just feels like he and Clemons are auto-Ks, but that could just be the frustrated me.

7-3 B7. Probably gonna need a multi-run dinger to have a shot. 5-3 would look a lot more doable. Bummer of an error.

Easy double play ball nets only 1 out and a run scores. Just not doing much of anything to help ourselves tonight.

Not an excuse, but I do think this has been a problem since WSU went to all turf. Have trouble fielding on grass surfaces. Also this is a crazy short grass field. Looks like there's about a half inch of grass.

8-4. Need more than 1. Dinger could make things interesting.

Bartlett sure squares up a lot of balls.

Come on. Make it interesting. 2 balks. 5 for Arizona on the young season. Don't see that often.

2 runs here would be really nice

They turned their easy double play. That's a killer.

Frustrating night. Not really getting destroyed. Just can't quite make the plays to be right in it. Turn a couple of routine plays and it's 5-4. No consolation prizes, but they should feel like they can hang tomorrow.

One of the things this team did best last year was not screw up while letting the other team screw it up. Haven't been doing that a lot so far this year.

Elliot making a bid for more playing time. It's there to be had.

Interesting field setup with the power alleys being the deepest part of the park at 400+ feet.

Not sure why we put in a .200 hitter to pinch hit. Now a .188 hitter.

I get mad about strikeouts looking in that situation, but that wasn't very close to a strike on Stroh. He shouldn't have swing at that.

Walk here brings the Bartlett to the plate with a chance to tie it.
