In this case it wasn't a matter of timing of the hits, it was lack of execution that mattered today (and add in some bad IQ). Their # of hits gave them all the opportunities they needed. You only needed to execute with productive outs and they win this game.

If you have bases loaded and no outs - the run expectancy is 2.2 runs. It almost impossible to not score 1 run - but the Shox made the impossible, possible.

When Stigrist sitting at 2nd after hustle play on the dropped pop-up, decided to go to 3rd on ground ball to the SS and get thrown out, and then the next hitter singles up the middle. What could he be thinking?

The nonproductive outs were a big problem in the Todd Butler era. I trust the HCEW won't let this become a trademark of one of his teams. But we will see. The Shocks pretty much faced the bet arm OSU had to throw at us on Sunday. Let's see what a difference a day makes.
