Verbal from Jake Rice, a 6-0, 165 SS from Lees Summit North

“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

Outstanding!!! Wedge and crew are bringing in some talent!

Ranked a 9 by Perfect Game which translates to a potential top 10 round pick and/or highest level college prospect.

If he can do that in a D1 game, in 35-degree temps, while sporting a sub-2.00 ERA, AND keep his hat on, then will I be impressed!

That ball had some zip on it.

The movement didn't suck on the other stuff either.

Velocity should translate, I'm not sure how the movement does as I don't follow near as closely as many.

But I could see why Pelfrey would be interested

I don't think blue could see it, so he just heard it and called a strike.
