Bohm on MLBTV right now. 2-2 to raise his average to .311.

Finished 3-4 with three singles and a walkoff RBI. .317 now and cannot pay for a cheesesteak even if he wanted to.

3-4 with 4 RBI and the walk off....on a 2-2 2 out pitch. Clutch. Phillies are likely to make the playoffs and Bohmer is likely to be a big reason why.

Bohm goes 0-2 with a HBP in the Phillies loss in game 2 of the DH

Saw a couple of impressive stats going into tonight's game:
Alec is now 11 for 23 with 13 RBIs with runners in scoring position on the season
The Phillies are 10-1 in games where Bohm gets an RBI

2-3 with 1 BB, 1 RBI, and 1 Run in today's loss for the Phillies. Batting Avg back up to .303

He batted fourth in both games today, going 1-3 in the first game with a double, and 1-2 in the second game with a bomb to center field for a home run.

He is now batting .330 with an OPS of .881

Bohm has homered and doubled in his first 2 ABs tonight against the Mets. He's now hitting 3rd in the Phillies lineup between Bryce Harper and D D Gregorius.

He's currently hitting .322 which would be good for 12th in the majors if he had enough ABs to qualify, and I believe he'll hit that mark in the next few games.

Alec is likely to just miss qualifying AND winning the batting title in his rookie season.

By my calculations, he needs 186 plate appearances to qualify and he's only at 176 and would need 10 in the last game.

He went 2-5 tonight, raising his average to .340, good for 4th, if he had enough plate appearances. It's possible, however unlikely, that a big game tomorrow (say 6-6) combined with an 0-5 day from DJ LeMahieu (and nothing special from the other 2 just above Alec, namely Juan Soto and Freddy Freeman) could give Alec enough of a cushion to add in the extra 5 ABs needed to qualify.

DJ's 4-5 today probably ended the race.

Yes it's unlikely, but still Alec went into the last weekend with more than a chance to win the batting title in his rookie season. Heady stuff.

Does he need a minimum to be considered for Rookie of the Year?
