No need for a "mea culpa"; I think you were correct. Losing an 8 run lead and then coming back to win it with 2 runs in the bottom of the 9th can easily be cathartic for the Shockers.

To be fair the previous 5 years hasn't been the best for rainbows by any stretch of the imagination.
