Baseball: Wichita State vs Hofstra - Feb 28,29/Mar 1

Anybody figure on Hofstra beating Nevada 2-1 this evening? After getting their pitching pummeled this afternoon, Hofstra pitching gave up 1 run on 1 hit and 4 errors.

Baseball is so weird. Sometimes you just gotta remember that the point is to win games and it's ok to be happy about doing that.

I'm cautiously optimistic. They did play a one win team who has horrible pitching. I'd be real worried if we squeezed out a 3-2 win on this team.

Many pitchers will lace their gloves so that all the excess dangles from the pinky end of the glove. It’s basically a fashion statement. It was happening back when I was playing, but I was never really a fan of it. Always figured I’d keep the glove the way it was made.
