Whatever happened to Tommy Barnhouse? Seems like we could use him right about now.

5-3 USF to the bottom of the 2nd. Need a big number from the hitters today.

Leadoff double for the Shox in the 2nd. Could be a wild one today.

Forearm tightness has kept him out for about 3 weeks now. Pretty much the same for Tommy Lungwitz.

Not to sound like a masochist, but there is certainly (a reasonable person would hope) a light at the end of the tunnel if the Shox’s continue to grenade and miss the tournament. A tournament spot just cements the program into at least another season of .500 incompetent boob baseball.

I’m almost at that point. Doubt I’m alone.

Bohm triples home Gibby with 1 out in the 5th to draw within 2, 6-4 USF. Gotta bring Alec in here.

Ross with a big 2 out RBI single to bring Bohm in.

6-5 USF to the 6th, Clayton on in relief for the Shocks.

Double on a 2-2 pitch for the next hitter. Not good.

RBI single, 8-5 USF still nobody out. Segal on.

Shame for Clayton, that really hurts.

You are definitely NOT alone. Save for a few Butler relatives and apologists here, it's pretty clear that yesterday a move should have been made. I think that speaks with the attendance at the games as well. You could see all of this coming. They still are poor at executing. Pitchers constantly hit batters and throw wild pitches. They give away a ton of runs. Sure, WSU has some power bats but there's only so much you can do when you gift-wrap runs to the other team on a routine basis.

8th place in a 9 team league. Can't win a weekend series to save their lives. Rinse and repeat.

But yet some will still find a way to call those that don't accept this regime "bad fans".

                            ... No really, deuces.

USF clips the Shockers for 3 in the 6th, now 9-5. Hitters have a lot of ground to make up in a hurry.
