      Bohm drills a leadoff single in the 4th

      Troutwine hits a likely double-play ball and everyone is safe on an error. Something cooking in the 4th.

      Vickers bunts the runners over to 2nd and 3rd. Looking for some execution here.

      O'Brien grounds out to first, not advancing the runners.

      Dugas grounds out to SS. Shox squander a good thread in the 4th.

            WSU would probably be averaging 10 runs/game if they didn’t waste so many less-than-2-out scoring opportunities.

              1-out error by DeBacker in the 5th. Runner steals 2nd.

              UConn singles in the unearned run with 2 outs.

                Heuer gets his 6th strikeout to end the 5th. Don't want to let this game get too far along.... Their starter had 9.1 total innings pitched this year coming into today.

                Edit: New pitcher for UConn. Looks like they already got way more than they were hoping for from Dunlop.

                DeBacker trying to atone for the error with a leadoff single.

                Boyer bunts him over. Ritter lines into a DBP. Grrr

                  Butler and his small ball - meh.

                  It has been shown that small ball costs you runs and you are giving up one of your must prized possession - outs. You only get 27.

                    Ritter misplays a humpback liner to left into a long single. Fielding has already cost 1 run, not to mention some pitches for Heuer. Hopefully it doesn't cost any more.

                    UConn single puts runners on the corners with 1 out.

                    Vickers turns a chance for a double-play into a no-out error with a run scoring. Woof.

                    Vickers has been very shaky at SS since his return to the lineup.

                          1-out walk has the bases loaded. Fielding has really submarined Heuer's day, as he'll be lucky to finish the 6th, and likely won't go out for the 7th regardless.

                          Edit: Killgore on for Heuer, who deserved much much better.
