There is a nice dry slot from Omaha on down south. Looks like we may get a good portion of the schedule in today.

Might be a little chilly though with temperatures hovering around 50 by the end of the night.

Finally found something that gave a number of 1931, but that's the same # for yesterday's games and today's CU/BU game. Not sure it's accurate.

1931 is probably an all-session ticket sales count. The box scores should have the attendance, but was absent in the ones I looked at.

Another sCUm tactic to inflate the relevance of their program.

Even with perfect weather and one of the best teams in their program history, I still have doubts about attendance for this location. I honestly don't believe 3K would show up to a sCUm feature game in perfect weather. Remember, no freebies and giveaways for the Valley tourney.. although the all-session passes seem cheaper than at Eck, which is ironic because 1900 would be rather pathetic for a new "jewel" of a park.

Boy, how close was Evansville to being 2-0 instead of 0-2.

Kevin Hall makes a great game-saving catch for the final out of last night's 2-1 loss to the Shocks and they just miss a 2-run walk-off homer in their 4-3 loss to ILS today.

I think I would prefer to get boat-raced a couple of times.

SIU up 5-0 on the Braves in the 6th. If the weather holds, and it just might, then our game with the Trees looks to be about 700pm first pitch...maybe a shade earlier.
