Titanic blast by little Mikey Mutchison. 4-1 sCUm.

It is a shame Bircher doesn't play for a better team - he's a decent pitcher.

Once the rain sets in there - they will be done for today. They are going to be a day behind. It would be funny if te mvc just imposed a 2-2 count to speed up the games tomorrow or Maybe they will just cancel the tournament and crown cu the champs.

I meant to say sometimes the strike zone is huge. Most of those times seem to coincide with Dufek pitching.

Bircher gets into deep trouble after the Mutchison HR and 2 outs but gets out of it. Still 4-1 after 7 complete.

I am really impressed with the stadium. By tonights game, attendence may crack 100 for the tournament to date.
Spoiler Alert: Bruce Willis was dead the whole time!

                UE vs. ILSt game on.

Each team scores 1 in the first inning. Red has 2 on with no outs in the top of the 2nd.

Big rain swirl still skirting Omaha. The video feed sounds like it might be raining a little but it is light.

Strike zone looking pretty big again.

Human rain delays by both starting pitchers. Neither can find the rather generously sized zone.

                  3-1 Ill. St.

Finally found something that gave a number of 1931, but that's the same # for yesterday's games and today's CU/BU game. Not sure it's accurate.

1931 is probably an all-session ticket sales count. The box scores should have the attendance, but was absent in the ones I looked at.

Another sCUm tactic to inflate the relevance of their program.

BTW: 3-2 IlSt going to the 7th.

                          • Could the preseason favorite go 0-2 in the MVC Tourney?

                              • E-ville got screwed on that call at first base. Brutal choke by the ump.
“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'
