What really sucks is I committed about a month ago to going to Omaha for the Valley Tournament. As SB said, unless this team runs off an incredible streak, there's nothing to be excited about.

I do enjoy the MVC baseball tourney and have gone a few times to non-WSU hosted places - let's just hope sCUm isn't the front-runner. Nothing worse than sCUm baseball fans ... oh wait, I almost forgot, MSU baseball fans. Ugh.

I think the Shox will win the Valley this year. In fact, I hope they dominate it. At this point Creighton is looking like the other main contender for the title.

Dear Gene,

Please retire. You'll go down as the hero, the legend, etc. Doesn't that sound more appealing than capping off a legendary career by being fired? The sooner you leave, the sooner we can have a good coach and a good program.
