Baseball America had us at #33 last week. This week, they only rank to 30 instead of 35 like they do in their preseason poll. I would imagine a solid showing in Tulsa and taking care of biz at home should bump us in.

Can this season please be the one where we flat out dominate ORU like we should EVERY year? :posterwu:

Known commodities like Cal State-Fullerton, Arizona, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, etc. will jump out.

Thought I would chime in here, albeit a week late.

The BA poll is extremely static. If you're not in the BA top 25 at the beginning of the season, a team practically has to make the supers to get a nod. Conversely, if you're in at the start of the season you have to lose a lot, and over an extended period, to get kicked out.

Tulane #24 in Baseball America Poll. Would be nice to get a series win this weekend against them.

Even if we could get one win, it would be better than the Arizona series last year. Two would be nice though.

If the shox go 10-8 then I will be pleased. Especially is they find a way to get 5 wins between the Tulane/Oregon/Hawaii road games.

Arizona and Air Force will be mid week and you just never know whats going to happen in those games. Tulane will be seeing WSU's 1 thru 3 guys so I'm hoping WSU can somehow come out of there with 2 wins but 1 will be tough enough. Penn State should be seeing 2 thru 4 guys but WSU really needs to take 2 of 3 if not all 3.

So tough stretch coming up. Between getting Arizona mid week and having Tulane, Oregon, Hawaii on the road it could be 10 plus loses over this stretch.
