I'm glad we are playing a cupcake to knock the rust off. Flynn's arm is looking strong which is a great sign. His control is not bad either. I think with the new bats, we're gonna have to be happy with 5 runs sometimes- plus, we gave away 3 outs on the basepaths. Overall, a nice opening effort, particularly from Kelley and Flynn.

Home runs are fun, but personally I like to watch teams manufacture runs with an aggressive running game and clutch hitting supported by solid pitching.

Sounds like our defensive issues at second base are no longer a problem.
