Couldn't agree more with this. Not only because Katz was always complementary of Shox but he knew his stuff regardless of the conference affiliation. ******* is a stooge in my book no substance all fluff crap to pander to "blue blood" tshirt fans.

With phone calls and meetings beginning informing some ESPN employees that they have been laid off, word will slowly trickle out all day long about who they are. There will be plenty of names you have heard of, as ESPN reorients their daily lineup of shows, and their online video and stories to match.

Could they get rid of Mark Adams? Not a big fan of him.
Why walk somebody in baseball when you can hit them?

He can be a bit cheesy but was and is a great advocate for WSU and the Valley.

His act just got old. Thought he just said those things because he got payed to say it.

I don't believe Mark is a full time employee of ESPN. He just does games as a side gig.

I can't remember specifics but he has his own business.
Its a good landing if you can walk away, its a great landing if the plane can be reused the next day.

Like how he thinks he is Norman Dale from Hoosiers though.

That was actually a very well-written farewell article. I've always enjoyed Seth Davis during college basketball season. He can be a little snobbish like Gottlieb, but it feels more in a fun and joking manner. Granted, when his twitter account became all about politics, I had to unfollow him. I even consider myself democrat now, but I can't stand that much political rambling, even if it's mostly stuff I agree with.
