Muller may be more interested in Vick, since he kicked a woman in the face. The Redbirds are all in on that.

I'm sure Muller would love to get his hands on both. It doesn't appear that Vick is in danger of being thrown off the team like Bragg though. His infraction was over a year ago, his punishment is likely over and done with.
Its a good landing if you can walk away, its a great landing if the plane can be reused the next day.

I wonder what "two years of college probation" is.

I think it means a regular student gets expelled if he screws up again. For a BB player I doubt it means anything.

Don't rape any 16 year olds, and if you do, be smart enough to not get caught.

I know all our former players under Marshall haven't been entirely spotless, but they've been damn close to it. Can you imagine what it must be like to expect some sort of scandal or player troubles nearly every season?

Thank you, coach Marshall, for putting an emphasis on recruiting high-character players.

I am confident there are some very talented players Marshall has "unsuccessfully" recruited, who he could have signed.

In 10 years, there has been one situation where a player's negative off-court actions have been brought to the public's attention. That is an incredible statistic.

Fred VanVleet and Deontae Hawkins apparently faced similar challenges growing up. They chose different directions in reacting to those challenges. One of them ended up at WSU. The other didn't. Both proved to be outstanding on the court. One proved to be, simply, outstanding.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.

I will say that Hawkins offenses are relatively minor in nature. He can still right the ship.

I thought about my comment a lot overnight. My point was to poke fun at the lack of institutional control off the court in that program, but I fear my point could have been lost in the translation. Certainly I'm never going to advocate the assault of anyone, least of all a minor girl.

That being said, one wonders, or at least I do, how many places are governed by that exact thought....."Don't do it, but if you do, be smart enough not to get caught."

Because I promise you that goes on a lot.

Perhaps even closer to home than anyone wants to admit.

I thought that too, but then assumed he's probably talking about Conner's misstep.
