East Carolina has landed 6'6 guard/small forward Mike Wynn from Albany, New York. Had offers from Akron, Charleston, UMass, Southern Miss and Charlotte among others. Seems like a solid grab for Jeff Lebo.

Its a good landing if you can walk away, its a great landing if the plane can be reused the next day.

Both of Memphis's 2018 recruits have decommitted due to Tubby's firing. Memphis fans are thrilled.

If Memphis hires Penny as the next coach, they'll be loaded within a few weeks. Mark my words.

You and Shox the Rev do sound like as close to experts on Memphis basketball as we could hope to find on Shockernet.

UConn has lost their entire class now.

Hurley will be starting from scratch as it doesn't look like he is bringing any of his Rhode Island class with him at this point.

It looks like Hurley's top assistant was the big time recruiter at URI. If he gets the HC job it looks like their recruiting class will stay. If he doesn't get the job Hurley has already said that he's holding a position at UConn for him and it looks like at least some of the recruits would follow.

We've come a long way since Denzell Bowles.

Signed recruits following a coach when the previous school put out all the resources to recruit him just feels unethical. I know the player is probably still going to go somewhere else. Doesn't mean I have to like it.
