The shox were also recruiting him. He is an AAU team mate of future shocker Erik Stevenson.

I finally got around to editing the list to reflect this summers commitments. Looks like Tulsa is the only school that does have anyone committed yet.
Its a good landing if you can walk away, its a great landing if the plane can be reused the next day.

You guys do a GREAT job with all of this. I have found that this is actually the best place to find more in-depth conference news.

We don't play football. 12 months of basketball news right here!

UConn just picked up a commitment from 6'8 center Lukas Kisunas from Lithuania by way of Brewster Academy. https://247sports.com/Player/Lukas-Kisunas-46036176

This could be the last big that UConn takes in the 2018 class which could help the Shockers with Dimon Carrigan. It seemed to me that UConn and Syracuse were the leaders for Carrigan.

Word is Boeheim may have Carrigan wrapped around his booger-laced finger...

Here's to hoping Carrigan comes to his senses and chooses the Shockers.

I always suspected he was a booger eater.

A lot of folks think the Shockers will land Alex Lomax, PG of East High in Memphis. We (Memphis) need one of the two big time local PG recruits for sure ... so supposedly we are now throwing the sink at Tyler Harris (Ridgeway High). If we do land Harris, it will make the conference a lot more fun if Alex wears Black & Gold.

That would give you guys four commitments for 2018. Would that be it?

We have six seniors and then two underclassmen that are NBA prospects. I would guess our class ends up at 7 or 8.

We just picked up a JUCO big man commit so we have 4 verbals in hand. Still need a PG and hopefully we will land Alex.

Our current 2018 verbal commitments are:

                          6-11, 220 C Jaime Echinique - Trinity Valley CC
6-9, 240 F/C Isaiah Chandler - New Mexico decommit out of Omaha who will be playing a year of prep ball at Sunrise Christian Academy in Wichita
6-8, 240 PF Morris Udeze - Montaverde Academy for Basketball Development, Richmond, TX
6-4, 180 SG Erik Stevenson - Timberline High School, Lacey WA

Thanks --- I read about Stevenson recently and he had a very nice list of offers. Looks like he'll be the perfect reload at the SG position with Connor Frankamp graduating.

Hope the Tigers get Harris. Would like to see Tubby and the Tigers succeed.
