Cincinnati finishes off the bowl season by blasting Boston College 38-6 to bring the AAC to 3-3 in bowl games and Memphis was very competitive in their loss to Penn State.

By comparison the Big 12-2 limped home with a 1-5 bowl record including a total demolition of their best team by LSU.

In the WarrenNolan.com ELO rankins the AAC is ranked 5th this year just ahead of the ACC at this point. I guess that could change if Clemson wins the NC.

2019 College Football Conference ELO - a ranking of conference based on the average ELO Chess of the teams in the conference.

Update: Actually the AAC has one more bowl game to play. Tulane is playing Southern Miss today in the Armed Services Bowl and is a 7 point favorite. Tulane not off to a good start though down 13-0 ten minutes into the game and Tulane not looking good at all so far.

Update: Tulane scores 30 unanswered points to take command at 30-13 at the end of the 3rd quarter.

Update: Final: Tulane 30 - Southern Miss 13 as the AAC finishes 4-3 in bowl games.

TU fired their football coach on Sunday, yesterday. They went 5-7 this year. New basketball coach this year, new football coach next year.

Well worth watching the highlights. The last 4 minutes are almost unbelievable. The Tulane kicker with a perfect sideline kickoff that the USC player can't control and goes out bounds at the 1. The DT blowing through the line to force the safety. Then the final drive to take the lead.

UCF and Cincinnati having prior success wasn't too surprising, but tiny Tulane taking down USC is quite the upset.
Shocker fan for life after witnessing my first game in person, the 80-74 win over the #12 Creighton Bluejays at the Kansas Coliseum.
