Maybe I've missed something, but when was the last "right-wing" violence? The Tea Party has been very outspoken but civil. I can't recall any violence or even arrests off the top of my head. Those things are usually reserved for some of the way far lefties.
Oh, so it's OK to try and incite violence, just as long as the violence hasn't happened yet?
The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off.

I am not going to comment on the merits of what Clinton said. However I will say this:

All of us should strive to be responsible in our political rhetoric, which is to say to be as fair and accurate as we can be. That advice is always worth giving, even if the person giving it is doing so, like Clinton, for transparently political purposes. But it is not worth giving only, or especially, to tea partiers.

The surest way to incite violence is to attempt to suppress legitimate dissent.

I haven't seen the Tea Party movement inciting violence. It's not going to happen. But I'm sure if some loon somewhere does something they'll blame the Tea Party. Just like some people try to blame music for school shootings or whatever.

Remember, liberals are collectivists. They can't help it. It's the only way they can grow government - seeing only groups, not individuals. Oh, they talk about individuals, but only inasmuch as they are part of a group. Similarly, they apply the individual beliefs or actions of one or a few to the larger association even if there is no direct correlation.

They are the ones who cannot judge an individual only on his own merits. So you could be the most peace-loving person humanity has ever seen, yet be considered a terrorist by the liberal group-think because one area of your beliefs overlap with the beliefs of an extremist, even when that overlap is mainstream.

funny how we never see any liberals condemning any liberal terrorism that is occurring. Progressives as you call them rioted at UC Berkley in support of preserving higher education earlier this year.

            Or the Earth Liberation Front...

            Or green peace...

Or Coalition to save the preserve...

or the Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty....

I could keep going, but all these are involved in vandalism, arson, piracy, blackmail, death threats....

Liberal loons are typically uncomfortable in positions of power. They are better fitted for protesting against "the man" than being "the man".

They are usually better at agitiating than leading, better at gathering among the grass than governing.

You have to wonder that if Obama had no right-wing media to rat him out, he would follow up on his edit that "this is not the time for profits" and take some ridiculous action that would make Stalin proud.

From the CNN article, Timothy McVeigh:

Although both Arizona and Michigan are host to militant anti-tax, anti-government, survivalist and racist groups, there is no evidence that he ever belonged to any extremist groups. He advertised to sell a weapon in what is described as a virulently anti-Semitic publication. After renting a Ryder truck that has been linked to the Oklahoma City bombing, McVeigh telephoned a religious community that preaches white supremacy, but no one there can remember knowing him or talking to him. His only known affiliations are as a registered Republican in his New York days, and as a member of the National Rifle Association while he was in the Army.

Now that I think about it - Timothy McVeigh and the Teapartiers have everything in common. We should keep a close eye on these folks even if it appears that many of them are eligible for social security or will be soon.

They both are/where interested in reducing the size of government, the late Mr. McVeigh through the use of fertilizer bombs, the tea partiers through control of federal spending, but these are mere nuanced differences of means, not ends. Also, both “Tim” and “Tea” are three-letter words beginning with “T”, completely interchangeable.

                  Just saying.... ;-)

Also, don't forget that McVeigh is 7 letters and Partier is 7 letters.
