It must have seemed so perfect. An obscure blogger unearths some pages of President Obama's college thesis. The report supposedly comes from big-time journalist Joe Klein of Time magazine. And the thesis has some real gems: like Obama's disdain for the Constitution.

The whole thing was nothing more than a satirical post on a humor blog. But Rush Limbaugh, who quoted from the supposed thesis on his radio show, sure wasn't laughing. Here's how it went down.

When has Limbaugh protrayed himself as a journalist? Never.

When has Barack Obama outed himself as anti-Constitution and pro-Marxism? So many times I'm scared to count them all.

Only someone seeking to tear down this country and reconstruct it in a Leninst framework would view the Constitution in a negative light.

Only a power-mongering statist would chafe with frustration at the limits the Constitution puts on the Presidency and the government.

Only a liar and a traitor would refuse to show his true colors by hiding his own words from public view.

"Make no mistake, this has nothing to do with Obama’s economic plan or his plan to give the middle class a tax cut. It’s just another distraction from an increasingly desperate McCain campaign."

Burton continued: "In the interview, Obama went into extensive detail to explain why the courts should not get into that business of 'redistributing' wealth. Obama’s point -- and what he called a tragedy -- was that legal victories in the civil rights led too many people to rely on the courts to change society for the better. That view is shared by conservative judges and legal scholars across the country.

Check your facts, the interview wasn't with NPR, it was with WBEZ and they had no problem with it. The link you give has nothing giving the impression that the Public Radio station was upset with the rebroadcasting of his interview through YouTube.

And your quote is from an Obama campaign spokesperson, not exactly someone with the discerning critique of a member of the media.

The obvious manipulation is coming from you.

WBEZ is Public radio! If you listen to the entire interview you will see it is you are full of it! taken out of context
