Clinton's Abraham Lincoln stuff? I thought Trump's response was great.

There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

I guess I'm not sure how you think that relates to what I said.

Also, you understand he was quoting someone else, right? Maybe the words we say in "private" shouldn't determine if we win the presidency or not, but you understand that Trump's situation is different from the one you linked to, right? And, maybe more importantly, you understand that President Obama is not running in this election, right?

And, most importantly--as noted--what does that have to do with what I said? I gave a genuine compliment to Trump.

That highlights the problem - as a society, it is now all about red meat and "feelings" instead of a civil discussion of ideas.

Any hope that this time it really did end all debates? Cause I can't take it any more.

Just posting stuff, I didn't give any opinion.

                Why so defensive?

I thought both candidates were very convincing in the 2nd debate. They certainly eliminated any doubt in my mind that neither one of them are fit to be POTUS.

@jdshock:, why would you ever think that someone who quoted you and posted a link actually meant the link to be a response to your quoted post? What are you? Sane? Logical? Come on now, this is 2016. Those things don't fly any more.

What difference, at this point, does it make?

While I did kind of scratch my head at the explanation it became more clear when I read the entire excerpt of the leaked e-mail. She specifically referred to Abraham Lincoln in the speech. http://qz.com/805005/the-leaked-emai...incoln-biopic/
While it may have been a great gotcha moment at the debate Hillary in that answer was being truthful (even if I did not understand) while the person who called her a liar was actually the liar. This is what is wrong with politics. It is all about attacking and gotcha moments.
