There's such a double standard. Babs sung at Hillary's LGBT fundraiser last night. Changed the lyrics to send in the clowns to insult Trump calling him a sad vulgar clown.

Can you IMAGINE the uproar if say, Toby Keith, changed a song to make fun of Hillary? OMG it would mean incarceration and perhaps death by sword for Keith, Trump advisors and a nationwide ban on country music itself.

Clinton was speaking at an LGBT fundraiser in New York City, where she also encouraged supporters to "stage an intervention" if they have friends considering voting for Trump.

On Saturday, Democratic vice-presidential nominee Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine tried to explain his running-mate's comments, while suggesting they won’t hurt the campaign’s effort to win over disaffected voters and that Clinton didn’t need to apologize.

I’m generalizing here, but a lot of (Trump’s) support is coming from this odd place, that he’s given a platform to the alt-right and white nationalists,’” Kaine told The Washington Post. “But then (Clinton) went on to say, ‘Look, there’s also a number of his supporters that have economic anxieties, and we’ve got to speak to those.’ ”

Clinton campaign spokesman Nick Merrill late Friday defended Clinton in tweets of his own, arguing that his candidate was referring to half of Trump’s event attendees.

"Obviously not everyone supporting Trump is part of the alt-right, but alt-right leaders are with Trump," he said. "And their supporters appear to make up half his crowd when you observe the tone of his events.”

So let me try to hone in on the theme of the day. First, watch Hillary's comments and judge for yourself. She apologized for getting caught. That's pure belief she's wearing.

Hillary apologizes, but walks it back by saying Trump ideals mirror the Klan. And that it's really not half his supporters, but half the attendees at his rallies.

Sadly, I have a difficult time countering this statement. The fact that from a population of 320 million people the best we can do as a nation is to nominate Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump as our binary choice for the highest and most powerful office in the land pretty much cements the validity of that statement.

However, irrespective of which one can generate the most anti-my-opponent votes and win this election I think that the country will still somehow manage to survive, however, the lesser of two evils approach to our national elections is getting kind of frustrating.

I was thinking heat exhaustion. The media was acting like it was hot and humid. Just checked Ney York's humidity which is now 33. All I can say is Hillary should never come to Key West.
