    • She's a fat, hateful, arrogant and stoopid (it's a dangerous mix) Snowflake. Like most, it's pathological.

      What else could her lack of composure be but stupid?

      • But, but polls. Polls don't lie. Just because you don't like the results doesn't mean they're wrong.

        At least that's what I hear.

          I have to admit: The "Porky the Pig" comment had me chuckling.

              • The Newsweek reporter did say "And More". I am surprised they are not ripping him for the environmental damage he wrought by flying 15,000 miles round trip to have Thanksgiving Dinner with a few troops. Maybe the propogandist will get around to that later.

                    The Newsweek reporter who wrote an inaccurate story about President Trump's Thanksgiving Day plans has been fired. The outlet's original story claimed the president only planned on tweeting and golfing during his holiday break, neglecting to mention his trip to Afghanistan.
                    Thank you Newsweek for making any effort whatsoever to bring mainstream journalism back under control. Actions like these will do wonders to tamp down the divisive rhetoric and send a clear message to activist journalists who would seek to continue working for a political party instead of just reporting the GD news...

                      .
                      I doubt it will have much impact at all.

                        • Michael Gerhardt, allegedly a distinguished professor of constitutional law at University of North Carolina, testified on Wednesday that Trump’s conduct was “worse than the misconduct of any prior president,” in history.

                          Really! Perhaps a look back at the conduct of some past presidents would be informative;

                          Presidential Misconduct: Some Historical Perspective

                          If you think Trump’s behavior is the worst in American history, you might be insane.

                          This week, Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee trotted out a trio of dispassionate legal experts to explain why the impeachment of Donald Trump was justified. They were there to bring a veneer of gravitas and erudition to what’s been, until now, a highly partisan affair.

                          But however smart people such as Michael Gerhardt, distinguished professor of constitutional law at University of North Carolina, might be, they aren’t immune from peddling partisan absurdities. Once Gerhardt argued that Trump’s conduct was “worse than the misconduct of any prior president,” we no longer had any intellectual obligation to take him seriously on the topic.

                              • I don't understand why Republicans on the committees allow "witnesses" to repeatedly lie or misstate facts when they are under oath? How many times have you heard a "witness" say Trump asked a foreign power to interfere in our elections for political/personal gain.

                                First of all, that NEVER happened. Trump asked an ally to look into corruption. The only reason it had anything to do with politics is because one of Trump's political opponents happened to have committed crimes and was guilty of bribery and corruption. In fact, Trump's political opponent bragged about bribing this foreign power. Every time a "witness" says this, a Republican on the committee should interrupt and remind the "witness" that Adam Schiff has already stated they don't need to answer questions that aren't established facts. It hasn't even been established that the President asked a foreign power to interfere, only inferred that it might have happened. In fact, every "witness" has testified the exact opposite. Not ONE OF THEM has any evidence that the POTUS asked Ukraine to interfere in an election.

                                Secondly, this wasn't done for political gain. Trump wasn't asking them to dig up dirt on the Bidens, just to prosecute corruption. The illegal act of asking a foreign power to interfere did occur in the 2016 election, but the DNC, Hillary, and the Obama administration were the ones doing it.
