I'm very much in the middle on policies... leaning slightly right. I just don't think either candidate is actually fit to be president. From a personality standpoint. Trump's policy's in general are acceptable for the most part. He just can't get out of his own way and is not capable of shutting up. I also think he's more corrupt than most politicians (which is to say they all are)

As for your comment.. yes Biden is the second worst of the left candidates behind only Bernie. The joys of American politics.

Well it looks like the rally in Tulsa was an abject failure.

I'm just wondering if children were behind the planning on this fiasco?

If they were smart they would have booked a medium-sized outdoor football stadium and reassured attendees that there will be plenty of room for everybody to space out and remain safe. Then, no matter how many people showed up, Trump would have looked like the thoughtful, considerate guy. But instead he books a large indoor arena AND leaves a large overflow area outside so he seals his attendance fate barring a miracle. It's a lose, lose, lose, proposition. The outdoor stadium would have handled all outcomes and contingencies AND would have been safer. An all-around short-sighted fail.

NOW, all we need for a cherry on this ****-show, is for an infection fallout linked to this rally to surface in about 2 weeks.

Trump won in 2016 with a ton of moderate voters. I assure you the Tulsa rally turned many of them off.

Get your act together Trump team.

They just arrested a BLM protester (white girl of course) for trespassing. She had her own personal photographer attempting to get a good pic to sell to CNN I assume.

I'm a fiscal conservative. I believe politicians should cut government spending before they cut taxes.

To put current politics into too simple terms.

    Dems: Tax and spend

Repubds: Don't tax, but increase spending while decreasing taxes

In the long run, the Dem position is more sustainable.
You forgot Omarosa's tell-all. Someday that tape is gonna' show up.

What good does it do to “beat” the other side? A little schadenfreude?

Identify issues that could be better. Come up with solutions. Speak out.

Speak out against partisan politics! Tell the other side that we don’t treat people that way. No issues there. Hold individuals responsible, not groups or institutions.

For the post above and the quoted post. We don’t have to put the federal gov in a bath tub, nor do we have to live in a socialist state. Arguments over the expansive or retracted power of gov are GOOD arguments. These are peaceful arguments. These are arguments over policy, not the ghost of racism everywhere.

Please bring us back to a world where the other isn’t evil, but where we claim the other misunderstands the best policy for the common problem we all see.

    BTW, I agree with Aargh.

And the whole concept of shrinking government to the point you could put it in a bathtub is a load of rubbish, as events this year have shown all of us.

there are some things that are probably better off being done by private enterprise, but I think we've run the lawn mower a little close.
You are correct. Biden will solve all of our problems. We can pay everyone a monthly amount, whether they work or not, and expand other welfare programs so that people will be happy living, We will stop global warming (whether it is man made or not) by charging more for energy (that's not a tax), we will kill many babies all the way to birth so we don't have to pay any welfare for them, pay postal employees instead of cutting services, even if we are losing money, pay blue states money for their poorly run states and continually growing pension systems that they refuse to reform, and much much more.

If we do all of this, we will be able to pay the salaries of the millions of federal workers of government agencies who continually grow and deserve jobs. Continually new and growing regulations are the key to good government

This is a fun one to watch. The Blue states are the battle grounds to argue for the experiment to defund the police force and replace it ................. with something. It's just crazy.
Wouldn't it be interesting (actually sad and brutal) to see Chicago, New York, and/or Minneapolis without police forces? People are just NUTS!

Could we outsource more government programs? Probably, but the low-hanging fruit is probably gone.
