I try not to focus my life around the cesspool that is American politics, but I couldn't help but notice while watching the speech how much of a spaz Pelosi is. Is she like that all the time or did one of her circuits get loose or something? One of the weirdest, immature, and cringy displays of character I've seen in quite a while. You can disagree with somebody's beliefs all you want, but to spaz out like a 4 year old in the background of the State of the Union address? That's embarrassing.

And this post/reaction comes from a person that's pretty neutral and middle of the road in political discussion.

Trump just won 2020 with that entire episode. American politics has dwindled down to a kindergarten reality show that is the slow-burning fuel of social media degenerates.

Excellent post Fev!!! While I consider myself moderate right, I could not pull the trigger for Trump (or Clinton) in the last election and essentially did a "none of the above" vote. The embarrassing tantrums of the moderate Dems, along with that party's continued Socialist leaning, have solidly put me voting for Trump this time around.

The Dems talk about how partisan Trump's address was (I didn't hear that), then have their response be nothing but a Democrat ad. They are losing total touch with the middle 1/3 of America. I think the results in Iowa, a middle America type state, show a rejection of the Socialist leaning and old guard Democrats, to the point of voting for young, gay (simply stating fact) mayor of a city who has a population 1/3 that of Wichita and whose Metro Stat Area population is less than Wichita proper.
