forward. Anyone can point the uselessly stupid studies our government funds daily, whether democrat or republican
Maybe I'm pining for something I can't have, but the Republican Party needs to update their schtick. Pointing out obvious government waste in order to make the statement 'so what the ther guys do it too' does not inspire or motivate me.
Reagan had a vision. Unfortunately, today's Republican Party doesn't.

Originally posted by Jamar Howard 4 President View PostKung Wu, I don't completely disagree, but I do worry (as someone who can't stand Hillary) that many of the "undecided, independent, could go either way" types will see all this and more often than not side with Hillary. I think people who don't really care either way are more likely to say, "well, that was a waste of time" and blame the Republicans for putting on a show. It is the reality you face when making a big accusation. If you don't make a strong case, people who claim to be neutral on the issue get a negative feeling about you "crying wolf", so to speak.
The worst thing for Hillary right now is not to be caught in obvious lies, but to be the poster child for establishment Washington politics that makes international diplomacy into a financial racket."Don't measure yourself by what you have accomplished, but by what you should accomplish with your ability."

I think the Repubs lost ground with those who are leaning and those who are undecided. Clinton was basically given 11 hours of air time at a cost of nearly $5 mill paid for by the government.
The American public has been lied to by politicians so often, so frequently, and for such a long time that nobody really cares if a politician lies. That's normal.
To me, it looked more like the Committee was trying to get her to say something that could be used against her rather than actually trying to investigate how 4 lives were lost. I might point out that I am not a fan of Hillary. Not at all.
For a public now accustomed to political debates and naming winners and losers, Hillary won the debate that was framed as an investigation.Kung Wu say, man who read woman like book, prefer braille!

Originally posted by jdshock View PostNot necessarily arguing, but why do you lump Bernie Sanders in as a non-traditional candidate? He certainly isn't as much of an outsider as Carson, Trump, or Fiorina. Is it because of his political stances?
Up until recently he was an Independent who just caucused with the Democrats."Don't measure yourself by what you have accomplished, but by what you should accomplish with your ability."

Sounds sincere and trustworthy to me.
Oh, and I saw a yellow pickup in the main WSU lot last night decorated with WSU stuff, and a Bernie 2016 sticker. Ugh.
