personally I don't see any outcome of this that is good for the U.S., so I see no reason to risk U.S. citizens for people who hate the U.S. on both sides. I also believe Pompeo is a Boehner little boy. I won't be voting for him next election.

Representative Huelskamp says we have no interest in the Syrian Civil War
In recent days I have hosted 14 town halls, and the unanimous opinion of Kansans has been clear: stay out of this quagmire. I agree. “I do not believe a military attack against Syria is warranted at this time.” — Kansas Congressman Kevin Yoder, an Overland Park Republican.
Representative Lynn Jenkins opposes U.S. Military Action
“While the recent chemical attack on Syrian citizens is an atrocious crime, it is still unclear who is on the other side of this conflict. As such, I am opposed to the United States entering into military action in Syria. The United States of America cannot continue to act as the world’s police force in areas of the world where our help is not wanted.
Following the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations’ consideration of a resolution authorizing use of military force in Syria, U.S. Senator Pat Roberts today reaffirmed his opposition to military strikes in the Syrian conflict. “I appreciate the deliberation of this important resolution in the Senate, but unfortunately, the resolution does not address my concerns about the goals of such an attack nor the details of our nation’s involvement, today and in the future,” Roberts said.
