    Absolutely not!

I was in NOLA enjoying the New Year's festivities when the entitled man-child decided to go bowling for people with his truck. I was asleep at the time (3am?), but when I awoke and read about it, the first thing I said was, "Let's get back down to the French Quarter and spend some money!". That bozo wasn't going to have an ounce of effect on me.

By the way, outside of the massive contingent of reporters attempting to spin this out of control for ratings, you wouldn't know anything was amiss. Same old magical NOLA. I was a block away from Bourbon street the evening following the attack, enjoying the music, food, and weather.

I also went up and thanked as many NOLA LEO's as I could after the attack. They seemed to really enjoy that.

The police coverage prior to the attack was incredibly thick. MUCH more than what I had seen in the past. I was impressed and felt as safe as anybody can feel. They did everything they could do. If somebody is hell bent on hurting others, it's extremely simple to pull off. Any driver at any time can drive into a gathering on some random parking lot and mow a couple dozen folks down with zero planning or effort. The wackos only have to get it right once.

I don’t regret my decision to turn on Fox News on New Year’s Day, because it was a sobering, necessary reminder of the fetid information ecosystem that put Donald Trump in the White House,

Column: What I learned from watching Fox News after the New Orleans terrorist attack

I don’t live in a liberal bubble. I listen to Ben Shapiro’s and Rep. Dan Crenshaw’s podcasts when I can, receive dozens of conservative newsletters ranging from libertarian to white nationalist and subscribe to orthodox Catholic newspapers like the Wanderer and New Oxford Review. Right-leaning friends love to debate me, because they know I’m not a knee-jerk ideologue. I have tracked the rise of Trump-loving Latinos in this columna for years, and have long warned liberals they ignore and ridicule Republicans at their own peril.
Guest after guest blamed the attacks on the FBI for supposedly preferring diversity initiatives and investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection and conservatives over stopping terrorist attacks. Buzzwords flew around like confetti that had nothing to do with the crimes at hand: Antifa. Open borders. Police haters. The far left.
Fascinating article! I also watched both CNN and Faux News on the morning after the attack while in my downtown NOLA hotel room. I also noticed that CNN did a FAR superior job reporting on the tragedy while Faux non-stop dropped propaganda and dog whistles throughout.

FOX is just plain cuckoo and a total waste of time for thinking people unable to be hypnotized.

No sir! There's no purpose in doing that any longer. A vaccine was released, haven't you heard? Oh wait..........
