A rook sacrifice move for Trump would be to pardon Joe and his brother on Day 1. Announce the political witch hunts have to end and he's doing it proactively before the investigations and trials begin.

Seems like a father did what most fathers would have done in the same position. Joe did let Hunter twist in the wind for a while though. I suspect half the members of Congress would earn similar charges if an intense political light were shown on them.

I knew very little about Hunter Gate until reading the first article in this thread. Seems most crimes were fairly petty all things considered. "Lying" on an FFL form? LoL! The important point is that the guy kept his mouth shut and let things play out. Trump does things a little differently.. which is why he's always in trouble.

My only issue with the pardon is that there should have to be specific crimes listed that are pardoned.
